What your registration includes
Your conference registration includes the Thursday Welcome Reception, two breakfasts, two lunches, dinner on Friday, and the Closing Banquet on Saturday. Meals and community time are built into the conference experience so we can learn, connect, and gather together throughout the meeting.
Registration fees
SWS uses a sliding-scale fee structure based on income and career status to help make conference participation accessible across our community.

| Want to join SWS? Join or renew SWS first, then return here and register at the member rate that corresponds to your membership category. |
| Want to attend without joining? You are very welcome to select Non-Member Registration for $700. |
| Membership and the conference program |
| You can attend whether or not you are a member. Active SWS membership in 2027 is required to be listed in the formal conference program, except for invited speakers. If you are attending without presenting, membership is not required. |
Conference Solidarity Contribution
Optional — add a little more if you are able.
The actual cost of hosting the Winter Conference is more than $700 per participant. Our sliding-scale registration structure allows SWS to offer substantially lower rates to students, unemployed and retired members, and members across a range of incomes.
If you are able, please consider adding a Conference Solidarity Contribution. Every contribution helps SWS sustain an accessible conference and support participation across income and career stages, including the administrative and payment-processing costs that make registration possible. Please note that SWS is currently a 501(c)(6) organization.
Conference Solidarity Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income-tax purposes.
