Are you a high school teacher who teaches ethnic studies, women studies, social studies, English, human rights or other related topic? Or do you know a high school teacher who teaches in these areas? Please share this announcement with them.
Sociologists for Women in Society (SWS) is hosting a FREE VIRTUAL pre-conference workshop for high school teachers. This is the third virtual workshop we have hosted for high school teachers. The first year we focused on Intersectionality and the second year we focused on Global Feminism. This year the workshop theme will be: Gender Justice and Health in Pandemic Times. The free virtual workshop will take place via zoom on Saturday, March 5, 2022, 9am-4pm MST. It’s limited to 20 participants – high school teachers that teach ethnic studies, women studies, social studies, English, human rights, or any other relevant subject. Registration is required.  All participants will receive a $50 gift certificate via email.
